DORIS LYU

Doris(Xinyu)Lyu, a Chinese native now living in the United States, is a film and television composer.

Her best works are horror/thriller. At the same time, she has a precise grasp of different genres. She has unique opinion on using timbre and is good at combining orchestral instrument sounds with synthesizer sounds. For Chinese style works, it is also her specialty and proficiency.

She had recently just finished the soundtrack of the Chinese documentary Hero.

Doris is an award-winning harpist. Her field of musical exploration ranges from performance to composition.
